Hello! I am finishing my 6th year as a school counselor and my 3rd at South Davis Jr. High.  I am currently on the Utah School Counselor Association (USCA) Executive Board as the Jr/Middle school Vice President and USCA Cares Committee Chair.   I have also served on the Davis School Counselor Association as the Secretary/Treasurer. I have enjoyed my time serving and getting to know the amazing counselors in the state!  I have had the opportunity to lead my school in the following areas: College and Career Week, Diversity Spotlight, Mock Interviews, Reality Town, Department Chair, AEC, AP Coordinator, LCMT Lead, Credit Recovery Lead, Academic/Credit Recovery Coach Coordinator, SEL SuperUser, mentor, and Spartan Academy (advisory) Curriculum creator. One of my favorite projects over the last year was during the 2020 soft closure, in collaboration with teachers and administrators, we made and posted a "Spartan Moments" video for our Instagram (SDJH_Spartans) every school day.  It was a fun way to reach our students!
