The purpose of this presentation is to use pieces of science from positive psychology, social and emotional learning, spirituality, and trauma-informed care to renew a counselor's sense of purpose and pour their best efforts into tasks and projects that they find meaningful. Beyond this renewed sense of purpose, counselors will have practical takeaways for how to integrate their own personal passions into a job and system that can sometimes leave us feeling out of touch.
