We will utilize, "The Heart of Learning and Teaching: Compassion, Resiliency, and Academic Success," model as a framework to support students in moving from trauma to resiliency. At Rose Park Elementary, we use the 6 principles of Compassionate Teaching and Discipline Principles to support teachers in creating safe classroom environments; and develop meaningful goals and activities for students to develop resiliency.
