USCA 2017

The HB239 presentation will include the overall policy changes to the Utah Juvenile Justice System, its impacts on schools and the law enforcement community. The presentation highlights changes to the Substance Use Disorder Treatment requirements, Non-Judicial Adjustment, and School-Based Behaviors provision of the legislation. The presentation will include overview of resources and services catalog by judicial districts and a status update of the Juvenile Justice Oversight Committee, which is tasked with overseeing and coordinating the implementation of HB239. The presentation will conclude with questions and answers session.
